Two thousand thank yous. One thousand for the linkage, and one thousand for rounding up all that info to back me up.

You pretty much summed it all up Andy. Obama sees himself as having ushered in the new modern American era which starts with him and his Apology to the muslim world and so everything before then doesn't count at all.

Obama is having a tough time because is wholly unqualified for the job he holds. In way over his head, with no way out. Thus the revisionists must get started early, lest history expose him for the fraud that he is.

While the hopeychangey folks still believe he is the annointed one, the rest of the populace is experiencing a well deserved case of buyers remorse.

“Frankly, almost as little as our troops in Afghanistan register in the US media. “

Alison,
This shouldn’t still be a shock to you, blogs are were it’s at (pointing that out to a blogger seems rather strange).

Try an excellent mil (military) blog that runs some really great stories about your boys occasionally -

Americans, at least the ones who stay informed, appreciate the UK’s commitment and sacrifice, along with all the other countries.

Now, when are ya’ll gonn’a get serious with the radicals right there at home?

I read a few military blogs Tim bit it's just not the same. It's outrageous your media doesn't cover our efforts at all. Or ISAF generally. Even the British media covers the full situation for ALL troops.

With all due respect Tim what do you propose we do

Arrest them - done
Convict them - done
Bar them - done
Let you know when one might blow up a plane - done
Spotlight the issues with Islam here - done
Challenge preconceived notions - done

The West does business with the Saudis and they are successfully exporting their crap globally and have us all cornered.

It's not my fault that Britain is so hated. It was well before this became an issue. Noone gave a crap then.

Whoa there Alison, I didn’t blame you, at least I didn’t mean to, for the UK soft glove handling of Muslim Extremists.

I’m not going to challenge or link to countering stories that disprove your list. You live there, if you feel everything is being done that can be done…fine. I’ve seen plenty that says otherwise.

A couple examples off the top of my head – a video of Bobbies running, yes running, away from Muslims protesting; some high ranking church official (sorry, can’t remember his name) constantly runs his mouth, such as “A little Sharia would be OK” and who is that Mayor (London?) who is so deep with the Muslims it’s not even funny. (He gave ambulances to friggin’ Hamas).

Anyways, at least you guys don’t have Pres. Obama. By the time he’s gone we’ll all be banging our foreheads 5 times a day on the pray rag, with beards down to our knees and our women in burkas.

Our media sucks, no argument there.

Have a good one.

We've been serious about terrorism on home turf since the 1970s starting with the IRA and when you guys were less than understanding about the wrongs of giving succour to terrorists. We haven't yet found all the answers and this is much harder.

The police "running away" incident was overhyped crock. They lost control of a potential riot and some muslim wise ass cracked a remark that bloggers successfully blew out of proportion. Sharia courts already exist in the US.

Yes there are serious issues. But, other than what ive listed and our brilliant security service, what is the answer in a democracy?

Politics would suggest people voting for the BNP. Is that the answer? You tell me 'cos thats where it's headed.

You have a good weekend too.

"...how much fun it would be watching all the Bush haters quiver and reel when they realised the problems of the world didn't all disappear the minute Bush gave up his day job..."

It's *still* all Bush's fault. The One doesn't EVER give a speech without blaming Bush for all the problems he "inherited." Ever. Which is getting *quite* old and has been for some time now but I don't foresee an end to it. As a matter of fact, I can see Obama blaming his failure to get re-elected in 2012 on Bush... it would follow, wouldn't it?

Nice chronology, Alison. Well done.

Wow, the fawning here really is puke-inducing.

Free Palestine!

Excellent

Freedom for Tooting!
