The above video is just beautiful. Hope you enjoy.
I got the BBC's latest nature docu "Life" on dvd bundle for a Christmas present. The series ran through last Autumn and included the latest in camera HD slow motion technology following in the footsteps of their previous wonders "Blue Planet" and "Earth". Totally beguiling as ever. Watching the BBC crews in "behind the scenes" on all these series, I always feel so jealous. They have my dream job. Discovery channel buy the rights to these properties in America so you can probably get it there now (with the soothing home comfort of Mr Attenborough narrating though? Probably not!). Check out the link and the latest series. Well worth it.
The snow is falling thickly outside and laying a nice white blanket even over central London, making it magical. I love it. I'm like a kid. And we were allowed to leave early which is always kind of nice. A bit like being back at school when it snowed ;)

It always drives me crazy that I can't watch videos at work. I'm too busy at home to remember to catch up, and I think I miss some pretty good stuff that way.
I have a list for tonight, and I plan on hitting it.

I do prefer Attenborough over Sigourney Weaver. J owns "Earth" narrated by Attenborough.
SNOW! Oh my God, we may have flurries Thursday night. The state may close down. If we live.

Yep, we don't get enough snow. We should order some more now for next year.

So... I go running off to YouTube and what do I see? "This video contains content from bbc, who has decided to block it in your country."
Well, now... THAT *sucks*! But I did enjoy the northern lights vid in full-screen HQ mode. Way-cool!
Enjoy your snow, Alison. We have bone-chilling cold today, but no snow. We are most certainly thanking The Deity At Hand for small favors.

When The Discovery Channel has shown these I seem to remember that it was indeed Mr Attenborough who did the narration

Laura you have to hear the news here re the weather to believe it. It's just as well swine flu isn't headlining anymore as after the media hysteria around that, throw in the media snow hysterics and it would seem like the Apocalypse.
Youtube sucks these days Buck. Pathetic.
It IS frrrreezing in Brrrritain today. Minus 14 in parts of England. Minus 4 in London at the mo. Jolly cold
Welcome Bill
